It's been a while

Ok, I have to admit that I've been cheating! I have been playing with paper scrappin again & denying my computer it's digital time. I know, I know, it's bad but sometimes I miss the way that paper feels in my hands, ink on my shirt sleeve & glue under my nails! But I have found something that might get my up a goin digital again. Go check out this blog train (for those of you who don't know what that it, it's a group of designers who work with a theme or topic to create part of a really cool collection)! http://blog.colorwithcaryn.com/ This train has a fall theme. Guess it's time to get the camera out and find some great fall locations to take more pictures!

A Different Kind Of Template

The templates I have been showing you in earlier posts have been quick pages where you just add your photo & text. This layout was done with a different kind of template. It is a template where you can use whatever paper you want to use. It's a bit more difficult but still not too tough and once you do a couple, they become second nature!
This is a template created by Jen Caputo you can find her at http://www.jencaputo.com/. Or her blog is http://jencaputo.typepad.com/. The paper I used is from Shabby Princess Express Yourself collection created by Ronna Penner. You can find that HERE!

I will be back in the next couple days to show you how to use one of these templates, they are really cool!

My Sweet Babies!

Just wanted to share with you this digital layout I did with a picture of my "babies" from Mother's Day 2008. What do you think?I still can't believe this was all done on my computer! The possibilities are absolutely endless!

Sunshine Studios!

Ok, if you know me you know that I am a scrapper on a budget! That being said, I wanted to share with you something I found last night. Sunshine Studio! Go check out their blog. They are doing something now called a Scrap Idol contest. It's a great opportunity to earn some credit to be used in their store! I haven't spent much time on their site, but they look like a great group of creative minds!

A Whole Scrapbook In One Morning?

Ok, so yesterday was a bit strange for me. As some of you heard we had to put our Isabella down earlier this summer which left us as a one dog family. Duke has not made the adjustment very well. I really don't think he likes me very much. I play with him and give him tons of attention all day and it still isn't enough. Being at our wits end, we offered Duke to go live with a friend of ours who knows and loves Duke very much. This is the trial week to see how they work together. All that being said, yesterday was my first dog free house in over 4 years and I spent most of my morning on the computer. But just look at all I got accomplished!

This entire album was created quick & easily using Shabby Princess album kit In The Groove. And the font is Scrap Swirl. An entire week of pictures scrapped in one morning? Yep, that's right!
